The Federation's own Activity Centre

This beautifully positioned mill house is now available for self-catering groups. The mill will accomodate sixteen people in five bedrooms comprising of two 2-bedded rooms and three 4-bedded rooms.

The facilities consist of bedrooms, two showers and toilets, large lounge and dining area, kitchen and utility room, plus a large drying room. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house benefits from full central heating along with a log burning fire. A large barn serves as an indoor play area.

Activities Available

Ormside Mill holds an Adventurous Activities license (AALA) to provide challenging and developmental outdoor activities. Outdoor programs are designed and booked through the Ormside Mill Development Manager.

Prices for sessions vary depending on group size, activity ratios and activity choice.

Examples of the Outdoor activities we can do are: Hill walking, gorge walking, climbing, abseiling, orienteering, canoeing, kayaking, town trails, night walks, environmental sessions, team building and problem solving tasks and much, much more.
