Football Programme

We run 5-a-side competitions in U12, U14, U16 & U19 age groups. Winners from each age group then go on to compete in a national competition through affiliation to our national association CYP (www.clubsforyoungpeople.org.uk)

At U15 level the Federation runs a Football Representative team. Taken from our affiliated clubs, lads have the opportunity to represent their county and take part in coaching sessions delivered by qualified coaches and play a range of other county representative sides and also local academy sides. But, the squad is about much more than Football. It is about mixing with lads from many different areas, building a team and learning leadership skills. From 2009/2010, the side will also take part in team building days, enjoy a residential and will go on tour to play other county representative teams.
